Solubility Rules

1. All Nitrates are soluble
2. All Chlorides are soluble except AgCl, Hg2Cl2, and PbCl2
3. Most Sulfates are soluble
4. All Carbonates are insoluble except for NH4+ and those of Group 1
5. All Hydroxides are insoluble except for those in Group 1 and others.
6. All Sulfides are insoluble except for those of Group 1, Group 2, and Nh4+
